2. If you know what the value should be, press F3 to manually edit the value:

NTER to save the new value.

3. To perform the dose rate calibration, press F2. The SAM 935 will tell you that you need a Cs137

source of known activity and date to do this:

5. Enter the activity of the calibration standard at the

next screen and press E

NTER:

6. Enter the standard’s calibration date at the next

screen and press E

NTER:

7. You will be prompted to place the Cs137 standard 20

centimeters (7.87 in.) away from the SAM 935’s detector. Press OK (F2) when you have done so.

You will see a spectrum resolve on screen as the calibration is taken.

Contact your supplier if needed to get the value to

be entered manually here.
